Tsutomu Takeshita makes handmade ceramic works in Tajimi, Gifu where ceramics and pottery are traditionally local business. He started pottery with clay which is softer material than ceramics, and then turned his focus to ceramics about 5-6 years ago as of 2023. Ceramics are often industrial and mass produced as you see at any store. His pieces are uniquely handmade and glazes which he makes himself are dripped intentionally to have imperfection (wabi sabi).
