Tomoyasu Nakajima Rim Plate
Tomoyasu Nakajima Rim Plate
Tomoyasu Nakajima developed a passion for drawing, especially character illustrations, which led him to pursue art in high school. There, he discovered pottery and became fascinated by the ability to shape clay into three-dimensional forms. His work focuses on the unique expressions of handmade ceramics, incorporating a technique he calls "Senmon," which adds themes of "movement" and "vibration" to his pieces. Nakajima frequently uses green and iron glazes and has recently explored creating unique sake vessels and katakuchi. Each of his creations is a one-of-a-kind piece, crafted with care and attention to detail.
